You're probably very eager to get exploring and make the most of your stay with us here at The Ship inn. With this in mind, if you'd like to arrive early, we can keep hold of your luggage for you until your room is ready. While waiting, why not treat yourself to a spot of lunch here in our restaurant or pop next door to our fish and chip takeaway The Catch for a delicious meal on the beach? Late check-outs can be arranged for a small fee of £20.00 per room. Please email hello@mundesley-ship.co.uk to arrange.

Accessible stays
We do not have any accessible bedrooms. All of our rooms are on the first floor and we do not have a lift. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Our Disabled Access Policy explains how we strive to provide the best possible experience for all our guests and visitors through a policy of continuous monitoring and improvement of our facilities and training for our staff.
Dog-friendly stays
We're proud to be one of the most dog-friendly hotels in North Norfolk. Four-legged friends are always welcome on board. All of our rooms can accommodate two well-behaved pups.
About your doggy stay:
- Your four-legged friend is welcome in all areas of the hotel, and dog-friendly dining areas are available.
- Dogs are of course encouraged to enjoy our beautiful garden (as long as you commit to helping to keep it clean).
- We love dogs just as much as their fellow humans so be sure to make the most of our doggy treats at the bar.
- All pups receive a warm sausage at breakfast.
- All dog-friendly stays must be pre-booked so we can make sure you have the best bedroom for your stay.
We ask just one thing in return: please consider the comfort of other humans, keeping your pooch on a lead where necessary and being sure to calm them if they become a bit excited.
Dog-friendly bedrooms need to be pre-booked; a fee of £20.00 applies for each pup (maximum of two dogs per room).
Family-friendly stays
All the family can enjoy a coastal stay here at The Ship Inn. We've one Deluxe Sea Facing Room and a Premium Double Room can be made available for family stays. Situated at the end of a corridor, we can create a separate little wing for you, with a private hallway between the rooms, accessible only to your family. When joined, these rooms can sleep four guests. Additional pull-out beds are available for larger family parties.
The Deluxe Sea Facing Room (room six) has a super-king-size bed and our Premium Double room (room seven) can be set up as a twin bedroom. This means you will have the benefit of two bathrooms for your stay, so there's plenty of space for all the family. Both of these en-suites have large walk-in showers, and the Deluxe Sea Facing Room has a stunning roll-top tub with fantastic views of the sea for you to enjoy.

The room prices we advertise are based on two people sharing. For each additional child on a pull-out bed, a charge of £25.00 per night applies. This includes a Full English Breakfast. Please note that our additional pull-out beds have an age limit of 16.

Deposits & cancellations
Your credit or debit card information will be collected when you book but no pre-payment is taken. Payment will be taken on departure. In order to avoid cancellation and/or non-arrival charges, please make any booking changes or cancellations as soon as possible. If you cancel your stay with less than 72 hours' notice we will charge the first night's cost to cover your stay. For events, please refer to your individual booking T&Cs.
